behind the scenes at Orlando City SC. As the Matchday Operations Coordinator, Logyn brings
passion, precision, and pride to every game day—and her journey is a testament to the power
of perseverance and purpose in the world of sports.
Proudest Moment
Logyn’s proudest moment came during the NWSL Shield-winning match last season. As part
of the operations team, she helped plan and execute the game that saw the Orlando Pride
clinch their first-ever trophy.
“All our hard work of the season was worth it at that moment,” she shares. “I’m an inaugural
season ticket holder for Pride, so I shed some tears on the sideline that night. I may have also
worn my shield shirt for a week.”
Advice for Women in Sports
Logyn’s advice is simple yet powerful:
“If you’re interested in an opportunity, just go for it and work your tail off while doing so.”
She emphasizes the importance of confidence and persistence, especially in an industry where
women are still carving out space.
“I secured my internship during COVID by just asking. The worst they can say is no.”
WISE Wisdom: Finding Your Place
During the FIFA Club World Cup, Logyn found herself in a situation where her assigned role
was no longer needed. Instead of stepping back, she leaned in—volunteering in another area
and showcasing her strengths.
“FIFA personnel looked for those who knew what to do. Since I showed I was capable, I was
free to run and organize my position as needed.”
Her initiative helped facilitate a smoother match day and left a lasting impression on
international stakeholders.
Matchday Rituals & Must-Haves
Long hours and high stakes mean staying energized is key. Logyn’s go-to hydration lineup
includes Dr. Pepper, Celsius, and of course, water.
Before kickoff, she takes a few extra minutes to change into her match outfit—making sure she
looks and feels her best.
“It gets me into the right space of mind. Look good, feel good, execute well.”
