Our WISE Greater Orlando Member of the Month is Sari Kitelyn, Director of Esports at Full Sail University. Sari loves being a part of WISE because the chance to connect with other women who are also working in male dominated fields has provided an incredible support system, and she's continued to learn from the panels, programming and networking events the chapter provides. Get to know Sari below...


Why I decided to be a board committee member of WISE Greater Orlando…
    • I had such an incredible experience serving as a mentor with the Wise Within program, it really inspired me to find a way to get more involved. Being a part of both the Events committee and Wise Within committee gives me an opportunity to support the organization that has provided so much support for others.

    The most rewarding aspect of your current role... 

      • Working in esports is incredibly rewarding, but being recognized for inclusivity initiatives and successes has been the most rewarding.  

    Best career advice I have received…

      • If you don’t have a seat at the table, sometimes you have to bring your own chair. 

     Best memory I’ve created in the past year…

      • Producing the first ever esports exhibition for the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games was one of the best experiences of my professional career. 

     In my free time, I’m…

      • I’m a baseball mom to an awesome 8 year old. We love cheering on the Bucs and going to Solar Bears games! 

     I’m inspired by…

      • My mom, who was also a woman working in a male dominated field and always pushed us to pave our own paths.
