Why I decided to be a board member/committee member of WISE Greater Orlando…

• • • It all started with a flight to NYC with a former member where we met with the National group and other Chapters to share and showcase why Greater Orlando should have a WISE Chapter. Being on the Marketing and Communications committee allows me to partner with my fellow chairs and ensure we can connect with members effectively and efficiently. 

The most rewarding aspect at your current role…

• • • The opportunity to connect with so many professional and collegiate partners while building relationships on and off the field. My team allows me the autonomy to dream big and create engaging and unique activations for all of our partners

Best career advice I have received…

• • • Great Leaders lead by example first. You can’t demand respect from a title or a position, that may work for a little while, but in the long run people respond to what they see.

Best memory I’ve created in the past year…

• • • Having the opportunity to be part of the Official Medical Team for the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games held here in Orlando. Cheering on team Florida and watching the athletes shine and be part of the Opening Ceremonies is one of my top memories this sports season.

• • • My former college teammates and coaches who are now leaders on and off the field making an impact in the sports world and continue pave a path for women in the business of sports.
